Case Study: Scleroderma and Raynaud's - Uniting SRUK

The greater the obstacle, the more pride in over achieving

The Scleroderma Society and the Raynaud's & Scleroderma Association have recently merged to form Scleroderma and Raynaud's UK (SRUK) . Scleroderma is a rare connective tissue disease that affects the skin and other major internal organs and Raynaud's phenomenon is a common condition that affects the blood supply to certain parts of the body, usually the fingers and toes.

The challenge

Working in conjunction with the development of a new vision, brand and goals as two charities combined to created SRUK, FARM Digital were to take the two standalone websites and create the new site whilst ensuring visitors were educated and informed as well as encouraged to make donations on the main site and through an commerce platform.

Solution and results

The role of the new website carried great importance, it was to provide reliable information regarding the conditions and building a community that would drive engagement alongside a strong donation platform and integrated shop. SRUK wanted to further understand the needs of the user and support base, FARM responded by delivering a fully integrated CMS to provide the charity with the flexibility to amend content look and feel when necessary to tailor to the needs.

SRUK launched back in March and we are already seeing great results around engagement and interaction with 25.9% of 39,828 sessions being a returning visitor and a total of over 116,000 page views.
